In a previous post I mentioned my job promotion and promised to share details but have yet to do so. Big thanks to Deborah Estelle for keeping me on my toes. Well two months ago I was blessed with a promotion to Operations Manager for the claims department. Currently, I work for a title insurance company and within the past four years I’ve been blessed to receive two promotions. I’m very excited about the position and future opportunities with the company.
As I mentioned before, I had to hit the ground running because there were H.R. issues to deal with. It took about a month to get my department on track to becoming better. There is still a lot of work ahead but I’m up for the challenge. Just in case you are wondering, I started with this company as an administrative assistant working my way through Graduate School. In 2006, I graduated with my MBA Global Management and since then been moving up the corporate ladder. God has truly blessed me and I’m very humble about all my blessings.
Well that’s the long of the short ladies and I’m sorry for the late update. Everyone please have a safe and fun weekend!

This is WONDERFUL news! :) Congrats to you! :) I am sure you will due well! Big ups to you for keeping God first! It is the ONLY way to truly succeed! It keeps what is most important... First!
That is a good MBA to have! Hmmm... I am pursuing options to continue my BA or BS and will consider this as a Master's! My interests lie in the area of music/fashion/entertainment however, I realize more everyday that a degree is often the first step (after keeping God first -smile) to getting your foot in the door! :)
You are so young! I expect you to be an executive by 35! :)
Many blessings to you!
Thank you so much for ALL the kind words. Sigh...I have to keep God first, where would I be without him?! He has brought me through so much you just don't know which is why He gets ALL the Glory.
Go for it, get your BA/BS and MBA!! I encourage you to do it and it's such an accomplishment. I'm so blessed to reach as far as I have education wise. I agree that a degree is the first step to setting yourself apart from others (career wise). School is not for everyone but I do believe you need to have a degree, license, and/or certification under your belt...just my opinion. :*)
As far as age, LOL! You are really too kind. Actually, I turn 34 this year. Whoops! Did I just say that out loud? LOL! Seriously, I'll turn 34 this year and I'm so excited to see what God has next for me. Good luck on your endeavors and if you ever need an encouraging word, I'm ya girl!
Good for you... God is so good !!! Wishing you continued blessings
Thanks so much Traycee!!
